So your device could send and receive at once, like Ethernet. Not as good of course, but a lot better than otherwise. You only need a 2.5gig+ switch to take advantage of WiFi 6e speeds, you will get the benefits of the 6ghz band regardless.The lites are much less expensive and even the pros are less with a 4x4 5ghz band. Since you are getting more of them you don’t want the wider dispersion angle of the LR, you want narrower and lower power. For us, 2 NanoHDs (old version of the 6 pros) and a mesh 6 cover around 5k sqft well, at less than full power.Maybe. If you use VLANs to separate networks (perhaps IOT, servers, and user-machines), it's a whole lot easier to set up and maintain in a pure Unifi environment. The UDR internet speed was max 650 Mbps on a 1 Gbps connection, on WiFi I could reach 600 Mbps - when using the UDM-Pro and the same AP's I got WiFi 700 Mbps. The UDR was stable and did a good job, in real life testing I could not feel the difference between WiFi 600 and 700 Mbps.The total of Unifi Express and Flex mini is about $178, while the UDR is $199 (but out of stock now). I'm wondering if there's a performance hit to this. What I've generally found is that most devices have a better signal-to-noise ratio of about 5 dBs with the U7 Pro versus the U6-E.
